Why write"Decade of Resistance"?
Greetings Relatives,
I am at a difficult junction of putting together materials for this book. Thanks folks, who have sent treasured photos or Audio. They are all safe in Bank Safety Deposit Boxes.
The lack of anyone, who was involved with Shundahai Network(SN), to share those memories is totally absence, except for Clan Dyke folks. Other are too busy to return calls. I did get one email saving the person was writing my own life history and his memories of SN were part of it. Others have not even returned emails or calls.
It is not like this is a money making project for me. It is/was to be a history of The Shundahai Network, under the guidance of Corbin Harney. I was/am payiny all costs so that his family and Indigeous Colleges and High Schools, could know of The Shundahai Network and Corbin Harney.
I just returned from a month with the Longest Walk 2 Southern Route. I had planned on going all the way to Washington DC, but was disillusioned by the manner in which the walk operated. When I left there were 41 walkers and One Hundred and fifty eight people on the walk. I don't know how many others dropped out, but the next day I heard that the person doing registration and the last medic, left in the middle of the night. This seemed to be the way folks left, in the middle of the night. But that is getting me off track.
Shundahai Network's inability to have a website since Corbin passed is distressing, also.
If anyone can write and tell me why I should continue on this project, I will continue, but why should I bother, tell me....
